My device doesn't show up
- Close the maker's app (LiTime, Redodo, JBD, Battery Monitor, Tank Check, DC Home). Most batteries accept one Bluetooth connection at a time.
- Wake the battery: turn on a load for 10 seconds. Some BMS boards sleep when idle.
- Move within 15 ft. Battery boxes and steel bays block the signal.
- Turn off the Bluetooth password. LiTime and some JBD boards have a 6-digit PIN option; Boondock Gauge can't read a battery while it is on.
- Still nothing? In the app, open Devices › Send a capture and email it to us. We add new models in updates.
Compatible devices
- Lithium batteries: LiTime, Redodo, Power Queen, Starry Sea; JBD / Xiaoxiang boards (ECO-WORTHY 12 V and others); JK BMS; Daly smart BMS.
- Starter battery monitors: BM2 ("Battery Monitor", ZX-1689) and BM6.
- Propane: Mopeka Pro Check, Pro Plus and Pro-200 (bottom-up sensors, propane).
- Solar: Renogy Rover, Wanderer and Adventurer controllers with a BT-1 or BT-2 module.
The propane level looks wrong
Pick your tank size on the propane screen (20, 30, 40 or 100 lb, or a custom height). If the app says "weak reading", move the sensor to the center of the tank bottom and clean the contact area.
Alerts
Alerts work while the app is open, or in the background with Bluetooth on. On Android, turn on Settings › Background monitoring to keep reading while you drive.
